{November 18, 2008}   “N” was for Notsuoh

So…we’d had a long break, and were ready to launch back into action with N night. At Notsuoh. Well, we were not exactly bowled over. We can say that is was a very interesting place. With it’s own kind of unique charm.

There were numerous shelves of old shoeboxes, tricycles hanging from the ceiling, and stacks of old albums. And a mannequin at our table, covered in post-it notes. They also had an interesting art collection. If you’re interested in a set of three vaginas modeled out of coconut shells and red felt, I can tell you where to buy them. For the low price of $250. You, too, can own your own set of vaginas (if you’re feeling low on them at the moment)! I sat right under them. It made me feel…um…all womanly inside???

Look! The vaginas are right above my head!

Due to the smokers at the bar (grr!) we only had one beer, documented our trip with photos, and walked around the corner to Cabo for fish tacos and margaritas. On the balcony, in the fresh air, looking over downtown Houston. Not a bad site. I’d recommend it, but that’s cheating. Cabo does not start with an “N.” Oh, well, it was an adventure. And now we feel all cool and stuff – like we know where the “underground” sort hang out. Heehee, whatever.
